How to Get a New Electricity Connection in Pakistan

Getting a new electricity connection in Pakistan involves applying through your local electricity distribution company (DISCO). Pakistan has 11 major DISCOs — each serving a specific geographic region — including LESCO, GEPCO, FESCO, IESCO, MEPCO, PESCO, HAZECO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, and TESCO.

Most DISCOs now offer an online application system, allowing you to submit your new connection request from the comfort of your home. The official application portal accepts applications for domestic, commercial, agricultural, and industrial connections. After submission, the DISCO assigns your application a Tracking ID and schedules a technical survey to assess the cost of connecting your premises to the electricity network.
