PESCO reference number

Spaces and dashes are removed automatically.

Where is the reference number?

1Reference No — use this. Usually 14 digits printed in groups. Type the digits only; if a letter such as U follows them, leave it out.
2Consumer ID — not this. A separate, shorter number. The checker and the PITC bill page need the Reference No.
3Meter No — not this. Identifies the meter on your wall. Use it to confirm the bill belongs to your meter.

Where to find Reference No. An illustrative layout with made-up numbers — the position varies between companies, so look for the label rather than the spot.

Your bill opens on the official PITC portal. No registration or payment is required here.

About PESCO

Most of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, from the Peshawar valley through the northern mountain districts to the southern plains.

PESCO's territory shrank when the Hazara division was separated out to form HAZECO, so some older references to PESCO now belong to that company instead.

Worth knowing

PESCO handles consumer complaints through sub-division offices rather than centrally, so the SDO named on your bill is the first point of contact for a disputed reading.

When bills rise here

Peshawar's valley summers drive city AC demand while Swat and Dir see a tourist-season load spike in hotels and guesthouses—two different peaks feeding into the same PESCO tariff.
