Karachi is the exception: it is supplied by K-Electric, which bills through its own system rather than PITC, so its bills cannot be looked up here.

Find your reference number
10 to 14 digits, printed at the top of any previous bill next to “Reference No”. It stays the same month to month, so an old bill works.

Pick your company
The name is printed on the bill. If you are not sure, the company list shows which districts each one covers.

Enter and submit
The request goes to PITC and your current bill comes back — amount, due date, meter readings and every itemised charge.

Print it, or save it as a PDF from your browser’s print dialog, if you need a copy for a bank or a landlord.
A shortcut to the official portal, run independently
CheckBills.pk sends your reference number to PITC and shows you what comes back, without altering a figure. It is not a distribution company, and it cannot act as one, being clear about that matters more than listing benefits.
It cannot take a payment, change anything on your account, or find your reference number from a CNIC or address. The official system has no such lookup. If this site and your bill ever disagree, your bill is right.

Common questions
How do I check my electricity bill online in Pakistan?
Visit CheckBills.pk, enter the 10–14 digit reference number from your printed bill, select your distribution company (DISCO), for example MEPCO for Multan or LESCO for Lahore, and click 'Check Bill'. Your official duplicate bill loads instantly from the PITC portal. You can print or save it as PDF.
Can I check my electricity bill without a reference number?
The official PITC portal requires your reference number to look up a bill. Find it on any previous printed bill, in SMS alerts from your DISCO, or by calling your DISCO customer care. The number is 10–14 digits and labelled 'Reference No.' or 'Consumer Reference'.
Can I download and print my duplicate electricity bill?
Yes. After the bill loads, use your browser's Print function (Ctrl+P on desktop, or the Share/Print menu on mobile) and select 'Save as PDF' to download, or choose your printer for a hard copy.
Is CheckBills.pk an official government website?
No. CheckBills.pk is an independent consumer tool that helps you access your duplicate bill through the official PITC portal. We do not modify amounts. For account issues, outages, or billing disputes, contact your DISCO directly.
How fast does a bill check take?
Usually 3–5 seconds, depending on PITC server speed and your connection. If the bill fails to load, verify your reference number and retry once. The PITC portal is a government server and can be slow during peak times.
Which electricity companies are supported on CheckBills.pk?
All 11 major DISCOs: MEPCO (Multan/South Punjab), LESCO (Lahore), FESCO (Faisalabad), IESCO (Islamabad/Rawalpindi), GEPCO (Gujranwala), PESCO (Peshawar/KPK), HESCO (Hyderabad/Sindh), SEPCO (Sukkur/Upper Sindh), QESCO (Quetta/Balochistan), TESCO (Tribal Districts), and HAZECO (Hazara/Abbottabad).
Does CheckBills.pk support K-Electric (Karachi) bills?
No. K-Electric operates on its own billing system (ke.com.pk) and is not part of the PITC network. Karachi residents should check their KE bill at ke.com.pk using a 13-digit consumer number.
What is the difference between WAPDA and my DISCO?
People often say 'WAPDA bill' for any electricity bill. In practice, your local DISCO (MEPCO, LESCO, FESCO, etc.) distributes power and issues your bill. WAPDA is the parent authority; the bill itself is a DISCO document generated through PITC.
