This site exists to do one thing: take a reference number, fetch the matching bill from the official billing portal, and show it to you. This page explains what that involves for your data, and what it does not.

What you give us

A reference number, and nothing else. There is no account, no sign-up, no password, and no email address required to look up a bill. We never ask for your CNIC, your phone number, or any payment details, and we have no facility to accept a payment, if any page claiming to be this site asks you for those, it is not us.

What happens to your reference number

When you submit it, our server passes it to the Power Information Technology Company (PITC) billing portal at bill.pitc.com.pk, the same system your distribution company uses — and returns the bill that comes back. We do not modify the bill, and we do not keep a copy of it.

Reference numbers are not written to a database. They appear in ordinary web-server request logs, in the same way any URL you visit appears in logs, and those rotate on the hosting provider's normal schedule.

If you use the “recent reference numbers” convenience feature, those numbers are stored in your own browser's local storage on your device. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or using the clear button next to the field, removes them.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies and collects a truncated IP address and general usage data. It tells us how many people looked up a bill; it does not tell us who you are, and we do not connect analytics data to any reference number.

Advertising

There is none. This site previously ran Google AdSense; all advertising has been removed and no advertising or ad-personalisation cookies are set. If advertising is reintroduced in future, this section will be updated before it goes live, not after.

Third parties involved

• PITC (bill.pitc.com.pk), receives your reference number in order to return your bill. Bill images and assets may load from their domains. Their handling of that request is governed by their own policies, not ours.
• Google Analytics, aggregate traffic measurement, as described above.
• Our hosting provider, serves the site and keeps standard access logs containing IP addresses and request paths.

We do not sell data, share it with data brokers, or pass anything you enter to any party other than PITC for the purpose of retrieving your bill.

Your choices

• Block cookies for this site — the lookup still works.
• Clear saved reference numbers from your browser at any time.
• Go directly to bill.pitc.com.pk instead of using this site, if you would rather not involve us at all. We say so plainly because it is true and you should know it.

Children

This is a tool for managing a utility account and is not directed at children.
