What CheckBills.pk does
CheckBills.pk is a free utility that helps Pakistani electricity consumers reach their official duplicate bill from PITC (Pakistan Industrial Technical Consultancy Centre), the centralised billing system used by all eleven distribution companies.
You enter your reference number and select your distribution company. The site validates the format, takes you to the appropriate PITC portal, and the official bill document is retrieved directly from PITC's servers. Nothing is generated, cached or altered. What you see is what PITC returns.
The guides section explains how to read a bill, how tariff slabs work, how to pay through different channels, and how to prepare a complaint. These are written for a general audience and updated when regulations change.
Where the data comes from
Bill data is supplied by PITC and the distribution company that issued the bill. When you complete the lookup, your reference number is passed to the PITC portal for your selected company — the same portal the company's own website links to. This site does not have access to any database of bills and does not store the content of any bill you view.
Office addresses, telephone numbers and service-area information in the guides are sourced from publicly available company communications. Contact details change; always verify critical information (especially helpline numbers) from the contact section of a genuine bill or a verified company website before relying on them.

The eleven distribution companies listed below all bill through PITC and are supported on this site. Karachi is supplied by K-Electric, which uses its own billing system, and cannot be looked up here.

What this site cannot do
This site is a read-only tool. It can retrieve and display a bill; it cannot interact with the distribution company or payment systems on your behalf. Specifically, it cannot:
- Accept a payment or confirm that a payment has cleared
- Change anything on your account, including meter details, tariff category or address
- Register a complaint or submit a request to a distribution company
- Look up an account by CNIC, name, address or phone number — the official PITC system has no such search
- Retrieve a bill for a K-Electric (Karachi) connection, which bills outside PITC
- Show a bill for a billing month that PITC has not published
- Guarantee that the bill shown reflects the most recent payment on the account
If this site and your printed bill disagree, your printed bill is right. The duplicate from PITC is a copy; any discrepancy should be raised with your distribution company, not with this site.
Independence and non-affiliation
CheckBills.pk is an independent website. It is not owned by, operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by PITC, WAPDA, NEPRA, or any of the eleven distribution companies. The name "CheckBills" and the acronyms of the distribution companies are used for identification purposes only.
The service is free. Its running costs are helped by Google AdSense advertising on the home page, provider pages, guides and articles. Google chooses and serves the ads; advertisers have no say in what the guides say, and your reference number is never sent to advertisers. There is no affiliate arrangement with any utility, payment provider or financial service, and no premium tier. See the privacy page for how ad cookies work and how to opt out of personalised ads.
Accuracy and corrections
Tariff rates in the guides are approximate and based on the most recently published NEPRA notification at the time of writing. NEPRA revises tariffs periodically; the rate that applies to your bill is always the one in force during your billing month, as shown on the issued bill itself.
Office addresses and helpline numbers are taken from publicly available company documents. They can change without notice. If you find an inaccuracy, please report it — include a source link if you have one.

Enquiries about your electricity account, meter, bill amount or disconnection must go to your distribution company directly. This site has no access to account records and cannot assist with utility account matters.
