About CheckBills.pk

CheckBills.pk is a free, mobile-friendly way to open your official duplicate electricity bill through the same centralized flow used across Pakistan's major distribution companies (DISCOs). We focus on speed, clarity, and honest boundaries: we show what the official portal returns—we do not replace your DISCO or change anything on your account.

Our mission

Millions of households and businesses still hunt for reference numbers, wait for paper bills, or struggle with slow portals on tight due dates. Our mission is to reduce that friction: one clean entry point, clear instructions, and quick access to the authentic duplicate bill you need for banking, rent, and household planning— without forcing sign-ups or paid tiers.

Alongside the checker, we publish guides, a units-to-PKR calculator (illustrative), and resource pages that explain how WAPDA, DISCOs, NEPRA, and PITC fit together—so consumers can read a bill with confidence, not guesswork.

How we work

Transparency

We label what comes from PITC versus what is educational content. When something is an estimate—like slab-style calculator outputs—we say so up front.

Independence

CheckBills.pk is not a DISCO, not WAPDA, and not a government agency. We do not endorse tariffs or arbitrate disputes; we help you reach official data faster.

Privacy-minded UX

No accounts are required to check a bill. Treat your reference number like a sensitive identifier—our privacy policy explains how we think about that responsibility.

What we do — and what we don't

We do route your reference number through the official bill presentation flow so you can view, print, or save a duplicate bill on modern phones and desktops. We don't alter line items, guarantee payment clearance, or act as a substitute for your DISCO's helpline when power is out, the meter is wrong, or a bill dispute needs a formal trail.

For those situations, use the contacts printed on your bill and the educational pages we link from Problems & solutions and Customer care & complaints.

Coverage across Pakistan

The site supports lookups aligned with Pakistan's major 11 distribution companies on the centralized bill system consumers know as the PITC duplicate flow. That includes consumers who still say "WAPDA bill" in everyday language—while technically their retailer is their DISCO.

  • MEPCO — Multan Electric Power Company (South Punjab)
  • LESCO — Lahore Electric Supply Company
  • FESCO — Faisalabad Electric Supply Company
  • IESCO — Islamabad Electric Supply Company
  • GEPCO — Gujranwala Electric Power Company
  • PESCO — Peshawar Electric Supply Company
  • HESCO — Hyderabad Electric Supply Company
  • SEPCO — Sukkur Electric Power Company
  • QESCO — Quetta Electric Supply Company
  • TESCO — Tribal Electric Supply Company
  • HAZECO — Hazara Electric Supply Company

Karachi's KE (K-Electric) operates on a different customer journey; our guides sometimes mention regional context, but the checker is built around the nationwide DISCO list above.

Editorial & tools

Our blog covers FPA, slab rates, peak hours, JazzCash and Easypaisa payment patterns, and how to read taxes on a printed bill. The resources hub links sector primers, customer-care expectations, and the calculator—each page is written to complement—not replace—official notices from NEPRA and your DISCO.

Important: CheckBills.pk is an independent service. It is not officially affiliated with any single DISCO, WAPDA, NEPRA, PITC, or the Government of Pakistan. For authoritative decisions on tariffs, outages, metering, and account adjustments, rely on your DISCO's official channels.
