GEPCO reference number

Spaces and dashes are removed automatically.

Where is the reference number?

1Reference No — use this. Usually 14 digits printed in groups. Type the digits only; if a letter such as U follows them, leave it out.
2Consumer ID — not this. A separate, shorter number. The checker and the PITC bill page need the Reference No.
3Meter No — not this. Identifies the meter on your wall. Use it to confirm the bill belongs to your meter.

Where to find Reference No. An illustrative layout with made-up numbers — the position varies between companies, so look for the label rather than the spot.

Your bill opens on the official PITC portal. No registration or payment is required here.

About GEPCO

The Chenab-belt manufacturing corridor, where export industry in Gujranwala and Sialkot sits alongside mixed urban and rural feeders.

GEPCO's area takes in the Sialkot and Gujranwala manufacturing clusters, so small commercial and light-industrial connections share feeders with homes.

Worth knowing

If your meter is registered as commercial or industrial, it is billed on a different tariff category from a domestic one and can carry a maximum-demand component. Check the tariff code printed on your bill against the category before assuming a rise is a fault.

When bills rise here

Gujranwala and Sialkot's export-manufacturing shifts add a commercial/industrial load on top of the usual humid Punjab summer, so plaza and factory meters often move differently from residential ones.
